The Moose Legion is charged with the task of providing aid for Children at Mooseheart and the Senior Members at Moosehaven. 
One way that we do this is the Annual Legend of the Golden Ball.  This year there will be a combination  Dinner-Dance celebrating the Anniversary of Capitol Legion # 155 and the Golden Ball.  It will be held on February 2, 2003 at the Columbia Family Center # 126
 
 

Mark this date down and make plans to attend this most important affair. Also on this date, we will be awarding the 365 Club Scholarships to the most deserving student(s) in our area.

 

 

The annual Legion Christmas Party will be held on December 14, 2002 at Marlboro Family Center # 1856 from 2 PM. Til 5 PM. Cost will be $10.00 in advance (with a $5.00 refund at the door) or $10.00 at the door with no refund.  Menu will include:
Turkey (all the trimmings)
Ham, Potatoes, Corn
Applesauce
Pumpkin Pie and Deserts
Music by D.J., games for the young and old
(maybe a Special visit by you know who if hes in town) Raffles and 50/50 drawings, big six wheel.

 

 Rocking Chair full of Cheer

 

The Rocking Chair of Cheer raffle will held at our Christmas Celebration.  Tickets will be available at your Lodge or from any Officer or Chairman of Capitol Legion # 155
Price of tickets will be $1 a piece or 6 for $5

 

 Secretary's Corner

 

It is extremely important for you to maintain your Legion Membership in order for you to be eligible for advancement to the Higher Degrees of the Order.  If you have attained the Fellowship or Pilgrim degree you should be advised that in order to remain in good standing, your Legion dues must be kept current.
Check your Legion card to make sure your dues are paid up to date. If you need to make a payment, remember that if you want to pay  in advance, you can get a $5 discount on three years dues($40). If you pay for 4 years ($60), you get 1 year free.
