Moose Legion:

Like Those Space Pioneers of the 50s, Moose Legionnaires Have...The Right Stuff!

> When the USA was looking for pilots to be the pioneers of the space program in the 1950s, NASA looked for those few, exceptional men with what was called the Right Stuff. In 1913, James J. Davis looked for the same type of Moose member when organizing the Moose Legion. Today, tens of thousands of Moose memberswho dare to be of greater service to the Moose fraternitycarry the title of Moose Legionnaire. They dare to be enthusiastic; they arent afraid to face unknown fraternal challenges; they are excited about the futureand they make things happen! When a Moose Legionnaire asks you to join this special group, say YESbecause theyre telling you they think you have the Right Stuff.

Moose Legionnaires who earn 100 Moose Legion membership units are presented with an elite Moose Legion ring. At near right, Carol Bell was jokingly deferential in presenting her husband Charley with his ring. Charley is California/ Nevadas Moose Legion Ambassador.

Sailfish (FL) Moose Legion 197 Secretary Paul Feldner (right) presents the elite ring to Don Schrecongost (center) of Buckhead, FL Lodge 2417. He earned all 100 units in just seven years. Looking on is Florida/Bermudas Moose Legion Ambassador, Bolton Bunting.
